George Davies has qualified as both a solicitor and a barrister, and has broad commercial litigation experience in both capacities. Prior to joining Ballinger Law, he worked as a solicitor with a large international law firm in the City of London, and also in-house in the Enforcement division of the Financial Services Authority. He also has an independent practice at the Bar (which he retains alongside his role at Ballinger Law), which involves a range of commercial and professional indemnity cases, acting both for and against insurers. George’s skill set as both solicitor and barrister bring an additional dimension to Ballinger Law, and also enable the firm to offer advocacy services.
George says:
“Recent reforms of the legal professions have allowed barristers and solicitors to work much more flexibly and closely together. I think that this can only benefit the client as it avoids duplication and maintains consistency of client contact. Modern litigators need to be fleet of foot to keep up and Ballinger Law has developed the ideal structure to thrive and survive in this new world.”
